Rivier is a product of PRAECISE LTD (registered in England and Wales, company number 15567058), 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. In this document "we" and "us" mean PRAECISE LTD, which is the business responsible for Rivier and the party you deal with.
Plans, the trial and cancelling
This page explains how a Rivier plan starts, how to cancel and what happens to your information. It was last updated on 2026-11-02.
Free trial
A new organisation starts with a free trial of 14 days. When the trial ends, the service stops acting on your behalf until you choose a paid plan. A payment method is needed to start the trial. We email you reminders before it ends. You can cancel at any time before it ends without being charged. If it ends without a payment, the account becomes read-only and your information is kept for 30 days, as described below.
Paid plans
A paid plan renews each period until you cancel. The price, what the plan includes and the date of the next payment are shown in the billing area before you pay and on every receipt. If you change plan, an increase applies straight away with the difference worked out for the rest of the period; a decrease applies at the end of the period.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the billing area. The plan continues to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. We will send you a notice that the cancellation is recorded.
Refunds
When you cancel, the plan continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund a period that has already started, except where the law requires it or where we made a mistake, which we will put right.
Your information after a trial or cancellation
When a trial ends or a plan ends, the service stops acting on your behalf, but your information stays readable and you can export it for 30 days.
After that period, we make an export, check it, and then delete the information. We write to you before we do. Records of billing and of our own activity are kept as the law requires.
Consumers
If you are a consumer, nothing on this page takes away any right you have by law, including a right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days.
