How we use AI
Who we are
Rivier is a product of PRAECISE LTD (registered in England and Wales, company number 15567058), 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. In this document "we" and "us" mean PRAECISE LTD, which is the business responsible for Rivier and the party you deal with.
How we use AI
Rivier uses artificial intelligence to draft text, answer questions, summarise, and carry out steps you set up. This page says what that means for you and for the people your assistants talk to. It was last updated on 2026-11-02.
People are told
By default, an assistant that talks with a person says it is an AI assistant and not a person. Where the law requires content made with AI to be labelled, we add the label or hold the post until it is labelled.
A person decides
By default, anything an assistant wants to publish, send or spend waits for a person's approval, and every action is written to the record of activity. You can set rules that allow some actions to run on their own. Spending money, deleting data and switching a site live are not done without a person.
It can be wrong
AI can write things that are wrong or out of date. Check what matters before you rely on it, in particular prices, dates, legal, medical and financial statements.
Who processes what you type
To produce an answer, what an assistant is given (your instruction and the information it needs from your workspace) is processed by an AI model provider. The kinds of provider we use are listed at https://rivier.ai/providers.
Your data and training
PRAECISE LTD does not use customer content (their records, files, messages and site content) to train AI models. Hosted model providers are used only to answer the customer's own requests, under terms that do not allow them to train on customer data.
